Bülent Efekan began his banking career in 1981 at Is Bank Turkey Nicosia Department as an officer and he was entitled as authorized employee in 1986. After that he got promoted to the head of department in 1991 as he assigned to participate active branches of the bank in Turkish Republic of North Cyprus.

He got retired in 2016 and within the same year he was nominated for Senior Group Manager Directorate in Near East Bank. And now, he is implementing the role of Loan Group of Pursuit Directatory. Besides that, he takes an active role on Near East Investment Lt.d., that affiliate with Near East Group. Also he is married and has three children.
