Dinç Erkman joined the Near East Bank in July 2011 and he serves as the Asistant General Manager responsible for Treasury and Human Resources and he also established the Treasury Unit of the Bank. As of July 2014 he is the Asistant General Manager of The Near East Bank.
Before joining Near East Bank, Erkman served as the Treasury and Financial Institutions Manager of Türk Bankası Ltd. between 2003-2011.
Between September 2000 and July 2003 he worked as a teaching assistant in İstanbul Bahçeşehir University where he gave courses of Treasury Management, Money and Banking, Finance and Economy, and he also served as the General Education Program Coordinator.
Erkman joined Toprakbank in 1993 where he started serving as Deputy Manager of the Treasury Unit, and was appointed as Manager in 1995 and as Group Manager in 1997. He managed a Treasury Unit composed of a total of 26 dealers.
Erkman gained his professional banking experience in March 1991 at the First National Bank of Boston’s Istanbul Branch where he served as Treasury Officer. There, he both gained experience in carrying out transactions in various markets and had the opportunity to familiarize with the institutional culture and structure.
Erkman received his graduate degree in International Banking, Finance and Economy from the Cradiff Business School of University of Wales, and his undergraduate degree in Economy from the Essex University in the UK in 1982.
Born in 1959, Erkman is an EU and TRNC citizen, and resides in North Cyprus.
